A miraculous amalgam of California harmony and vintage R & B, Pacific Soul Ltd. is a collaboration between three vocalist/songwriters: veteran power pop producer Adam Marsland (Standells/Cockeyed Ghost/Negro Problem), suave soul frontman Norman Kelsey, and the pure vocal stylings of bassist Teresa Cowles (most recently glimpsed as bassist Carol Kaye in the Brian Wilson biopic Love and Mercy).

Following a successful 2015 UK tour and airplay for the single "Tomorrow Brings Tonight"/"Blue Summertime" (both included, in remastered form, on The Dance Divine), the trio reconvened in 2016 to collaborate on their first full-length – 12 soulful pop tunes that take the listener on a sonic journey through the history of '70s and '80s pop-R&B replete with an Al Green-influenced remake of the Beach Boys' classic "God Only Knows."

In troubled times, soulful pop has always cut through the chaos to reaffirm the values of harmony and good feelings. The Dance Divine is an upbeat, positive, funky record that's all at once nostalgic, timeless, and exactly right for the here and now. It's got a good beat, and you can dance to it too.
